Experimental Design and Controlled Experiments

It is Alive!!!  (or is it?)

Brainstorming time ...  What are the Characteristics of Living Things we learned about last semester?  What new science concepts did we learn about each one?  Which ones might be in a lab setting???

 (Mon/Tues)  Time to try out your experiment.  Are your Independent and Dependent variables as measureable as you thought?  

 What confounding variables do you need to keep in mind as you write out the plan for your experiment?  What refinements can you make so your results are more trustworthy?

Make a data table before you begin, be sure you are recording your results accurately, and keep notes on the details of the procedures you actually do!!!
